Ski Trainer Combo Pack - Tip Lock Included

E-mail this product to a friend

This is DEFINITELY a TwinzGear "GREAT GEAR" Pick. We used this ski trainer system with our twins and they were on the slopes at the age of 13 months. Much more than a leash-only product, this patent pending, multifunctional, 3-in-1 ski trainer includes everything you need in one easy to use harness. And with this combo pack you also get the tip lock which is critical to getting kids started with a solid ski foundation.

FEATURES

  • Grip 'n Guide sports handle. A one handed lift on the ski slope gets them back on their feet. Easy to load and hold kids on chairlift. This is a MUST when skiing with small children and gives parents peace of mind by providing a way to keep a solid hold on little-ones during the chairlift ride.

  • Two removable 7-foot learn-to-turn ski leashes

  • Pack. Stow leashes, goodies, hand warmers and dry gear.

Children learn ski turns relatively quickly but still may have trouble around the chairlift until they are physically larger. With the Ski Trainer once they are comfortable turning you can leave the leashes at home and still have a valuable tool with the Grip 'n Guide handle. Then, use the small pack to stow treats and dry gear.

Tip Clip (included in this combination pack)

The Tip Clip is the quintessential confidence booster, as it makes kids more comfortable on their skis by helping them form a wedge to facilitate turns and control speed.

FEATURES

  • Helps keep ski tips from spreading out

  • Heavy-duty nylon webbing

  • Velcro and clip banding system attached to the tips of skis

We have found the Tip Clip to be a valuable device even months after our older son had mastered the "wedge". On spring break in Steamboat our family looked to try more aggressive terrain but our 4 year old was hesitant. Luckily we had a Tip Clip handy and we put it on at the top of a new run. Jack was immediately more comfortable and was able to enjoy a new run with steep bumpy terrain.

Later that sunny afternoon we all wanted to try and squeeze in a few more runs so, we put the Tip Clip back on Jack's ski tips. With the Tip Clip on, the little guy expended less energy, which allowed us to make a few more runs on a beautiful spring day.
